A Pasco man was injured following a one-vehicle accident on State Route 14 at milepost 23, seven miles east of Washougal. The accident occurred on June 18, 2008, at 6 a.m.
According to the report, Charles L. Ramseyer, 76, Pasco, was driving his 1998 Ford Explorer westbound on SR 14. The vehicle left the roadway to the north and entered a ditch. The vehicle continued sliding across a grassy area and struck two posts on a private driveway. The vehicle then rotated, entered a creek area and came to rest on its top.
Ramseyer suffered leg injuries and was taken by Life Flight to Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver.
The case is still under investigation.
Six people were injured in a one vehicle accident on SR 14 at milepost 135, one mile east of Roosevelt. The accident occurred on June 18, 2008, at 4:55 p.m.
According to the report, Rong X Chen, 36, Prosser, was driving a 2006 Toyota van eastbound on SR 14. The van went off the eastbound shoulder. The driver overcorrected, crossing all lanes and going off the north side of the roadway. The vehicle rolled several times down an embankment, coming to rest on its wheels.
Rong Chen suffered head injury and was transported to Mid Columbia Medical Center in The Dalles.
Judy Zhu, 35, Prosser, had lacerations to her head. She was transported to MCMC and then taken by Life Flight to Emanuel Hospital in Portland.

Callie Chen, 5, was in an unsecured child seat and was ejected onto the roadway. She suffered head and hip injuries, had a broken arm and facial lacerations. She was taken by Life Flight to Emanuel.
(First name unknown) Chen, 56, Prosser, had head lacerations and was taken to MCMC.
Finally, Jiamin Chen, 8, Prosser, had no injuries but was transported to MCMC.
