The Klickitat County Planning Department is considering a conditional use application for the purpose of constructing and operating a certified "high ropes challenge course" on two acres within a 127-acre parcel near Trout Lake.
The site under consideration is at 11 Little Mountain Rd., Trout Lake.
The applicant is Jonah Ministries, represented by Jeff and Beki Duke of Trout Lake.
The application is scheduled for a public hearing, although no date or location for the hearing has yet been set.
Written comments and/or appeals of the "determination of non-significance" regarding this application can be submitted to the Planning Department until Oct. 7.
