Master of disaster

Bush and his team are the consummate Masters of Disaster. Look down the line at all the major initiatives (or non-initiatives) of this Republican administration — Iraq, Katrina, de-funding FEMA, Social Security privatization, health care, education, tax cuts for the wealthy, environmental degradation — and the conclusion is the same: Masters of Disaster.

Could be a good computer game title with the appropriate story line. Repeat the phrase enough times and it could be a drumbeat that drives the lot of them from office. We can only hope that another natural or human caused disaster does not strike in the next couple of years since we know what the disastrous federal response will likely be. We can also only hope that the public will make a more intelligent choice of so-called leaders in the next election.
