Aryn Davis had 10 kills and two blocks, and Sherri Brewer scored five kills and four aces last Friday, helping Klickitat sweep a Greater Columbia B League volleyball match from visiting Lyle.
The Vandals, playing their league opener, defeated the Cougars, 25-19, 25-13 and 25-15.
Klickitat hit on 89 percent of its serves (67/75), a mark which included six service aces, recorded 17 kills in 82 attempts and made seven saves.
Four players completed at least 93 percent of their serves. Linville (10/10) and Risley (6/6) were perfect from the line while Davis (15/16) and Melissa Huwe (13/14) each had one service error.
Davis (31 attempts), Brewer (19), Huwe (14) and Brittany Lenke (13) paced Klickitat's attack, which was aided by first-year setter Linville's 13 assists.
Trisheena Keys and Huwe contributed four and two saves, respectively, as Klickitat went unbeaten in the first week of the season.
The Vandals opened the season Sept. 6 at the Stevenson jamboree, winning all six of their sets.
Klickitat beat, in order, White Salmon, 25-13, 15-16; Stevenson, 25-15, 25-17; and Vancouver Christian, 25-6, 25-21.
