Greater Columbia B League girls basketball teams play their final regular season games this weekend in the lead-up to the 2010 Yakima Valley District Class 1B tournament.
Klickitat and Trout Lake/Glenwood are tied for second place in the five-team league standings, and each has one GCB game remaining: Klickitat at Bickleton this Friday, TLG vs. Sunnyside Christian on Saturday.
In any event, the Vandals (4-3 in GCB, 9-10 overall) and the Mustang Eagles (4-3, 12-5) will meet again in the first round of district play.
This year’s state qualifier, with two berths available, starts on Friday, Feb. 12, at Sunnyside High School, and concludes Saturday, Feb. 20, in Mabton.
