The Goldendale Jaycees will be sponsoring the Bog at Eddyville August 2nd and 3rd at the Eddyville Motorsports Park near Goldendale, WA. Eddyville is located approximately 6 miles south of Goldendale off US Hwy. 97 and String Street in the Centerville vicinity. The bog will feature a man-made Mud Bog where various classes of street legal trucks will race through the bog and hopefully not get stuck! Sunday afternoon will feature a BOG FOR BUCKS where all the contestants will have one last chance to race through the bog with the winner taking all the prize money in the bog for bucks.
The gates open each day at 8 a.m. with the action starting at 9 a.m. Bleacher seating will be available, as well as an area for those who want to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. Admission for adults is $6 a day or $10 for the weekend; Youth and seniors are $4 a day or $7 for the weekend. Food will be available on site, or you can bring your own and have a picnic.
If you are interested in being a contestant and taking your truck through the mud, it is not too late to enter. There is a limit of 100 drivers, so pre-registration is encouraged and it would secure your participation in the event.
