If you can't make the Friends' Spring Book Sale, remember to check out the Friends' year-round Books to Go room located in the library, where you can buy some wonderful books all year long while supporting the Friends and the library. The Books to Go Room is open during all regular library hours, Tuesday 10-8 and Wednesday through Saturday 10-6.
Donations for the book and multi-media sale are welcome.
Proceeds from the book sale and the Books to Go room are used to support special projects for the White Salmon Valley Community Library.
Proceeds from past sales have been used to host programs such as the Washington Commission for the Humanities' Inquiring Mind series, to purchase new materials for the library and to provide the wonderful landscaping on the South side of the library.
Proceeds from the sale of all multi-media items will be used to support the local Teen Summer Reading program, and to enhance other teen library programs and resources at the White Salmon library.
