SHERMAN & GILLIAM CO. — Greater Oregon Behavioral Health, Inc. (GOBHI) is offering free parenting classes this spring and summer through the Triple P – Positive Parenting Program, an internationally recognized parenting and family support program designed to help families build strong, healthy relationships and support children’s development.
Triple P aims to prevent and address behavioral and emotional challenges in children and teenagers by giving parents and caregivers practical tools and strategies they can use in everyday life. The program focuses on strengthening family relationships, encouraging positive behavior, and creating supportive home environments where children can thrive.
Through this initiative, GOBHI is partnering with organizations across Eastern Oregon to make these evidence-based classes accessible to families in rural and frontier communities. Sessions are offered in a variety of formats, including workshops, multi-week series, and virtual classes to help accommodate different schedules and needs.
“Triple P provides practical strategies that help parents feel more confident and supported,” said GOBHI representatives. “By making these classes available at no cost, we hope more families across Eastern Oregon can access tools that strengthen families and support children’s emotional well-being.”
All Triple P services are free to attend, and no formal referral is required.
