Emma Patterson would like everyone to know her little brother has arrived. His name is Wyatt Winnier Patterson. He weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces. Wyatt was born Jan. 21, 2010, at Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Ore. Maternal grandparents are Alta and Billie Valdez of Glenwood. Paternal grandparent is Randy Patterson of Mesa, Ariz. Great, grandpa is Ralph Patterson of Goldendale.
The annual Spelling Bee result winners are as follows: first grade, Liam McLaughlin; second grade, Carmen Guzman; third grade, Kinley Troh; fourth grade, Brittany McCoy; fifth grade, Colton Troh; sixth grade, Bethany Putnum; seventh grade, Rebecca Hallenbeck; and eighth grade, Jonathan Throop. The town of Glenwood would like to send heartfelt condolences to family, friends and the community of Klickitat for the loss of the two young men this weekend. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
At the tournament Friday night in Sunnyside, the TLG boys and girls games were a success for both. The girls beat Bickleton and the boys beat Yakama. The teams were in playoff games Tuesday, Feb. 16. If they win they will have a seat to state in Yakima. Good luck and congratulations.
