WSV Schools to modify tobacco policy, prohibit e-cigarettes on campus

The White Salmon Valley School District Board of Directors took the first step to modify its nicotine and tobacco policy in order to prohibit electronic cigarettes from school grounds at a meeting on March 27. The first reading of the changes to the nicotine and tobacco policy included “tobacco products and delivery devices” and “electronic smoking/vapor devices” as not being allowed on school property.

The White Salmon Valley School District is taking steps to keep electronic cigarettes and smoking devices off of school property.

At the latest meeting of the White Salmon Valley School District Board of Directors, the first reading of changes to Policy No. 4215 regarding use of tobacco and nicotine substances was held.
