The White Salmon Lions Club will serve as grand marshals for the 2014 Huckleberry Festival, which runs Friday through Sunday in Bingen.
Events begin in Daubenspeck Park on Friday night at 6 pm with the talent show. That will be followed by music by Antifaz on the stage from 8 to 11.
Saturday activities begin early with the White Salmon Volunteer Fire Department serving up huckleberry pancakes for breakfast from 6 to 10 am at the fire hall.
The annual parade through downtown Bingen begins at 11 am, with parade lineup at Los Reyes Restaurant at 9:30, and concludes near Daubenspeck Park.
Saturday entertainment on the stage begins with Harmony of the Gorge at noon and continues throughout the day and evening, concluding with Instruments of the Now beginning at 9 pm. Sunday entertainment concludes at 3 pm with Willy & Nelson.
There will be plenty of food to eat at the park, including the festival's bratwurst and huckleberry pie, and don't forget the Brew Fest set up near the stage.
For kids, activities include an egg toss, watermelon eating contest, and a Hula Hoop contest, all on Saturday.
