Lynette O’Brien, a broker with Columbia River Properties in The Dalles has earned the nationally recognized Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification.
The National Association of Realtors (NAR) awards the MRP certification to realtors who work with military personnel and veterans to find housing solutions that best meet their needs and allow them to take full advantage of their military benefits.
O’Brien was motivated to earn the certification because of her family’s involvement in the military.
“Coming from a family with a strong military background, it is a pleasure to give time and dedication to those who have given so much for us,” she explained. “They are an integral part of our community family. Helping them navigate the home buying or selling process is a great honor.”
The MRP certification provides brokers with resources to make buying or selling a home for a military family easier and faster.
“We are very proud of Lynette and her accomplishment,” said Rocky Webb, principle broker at Columbia River Properties (CRP).
“Achieving this certification isn’t easy, but her hard work and dedication helped her reach her goals.” he added. O’Brien has been a broker for five years with CRP. In addition to her real estate experience she is an accredited staging professional.
