Oregon State Police (OSP) confirmed the motorcycle operator involved in a Sept. 12 crash at an intersection on Highway 97 near Wasco in Sherman County has died. The OSP investigation is continuing and enforcement action is pending.

Mark Peters, 55, from Hood River, died Oct. 1, reportedly from injuries related to the crash.
