CORRECTIONS
The Oct. 25 story “Access to a new world,” regarding high-speed internet access via Wi-Fi coming to Celilo Village, incorrectly identified the company making point-to-point connections from the radio tower in Klickitat County to the water tower at Celilo Village as Google Networks: The connections were made by Gorge Networks. Gorge Networks offers internet service in Oregon and Washington, providing access to high-speed internet through fixed wireless systems, as well as fiber and cable.
The Nov. 1 article on a tentative offer made to Michelle Teed to serve as city attorney incorrectly stated she practiced law in Arizona, which she did not. It also misstated her employer in Oregon, which was the Division of Finance and Corporate Securities, which has since been folded into another agency.

Nov. 2, 10:15 a.m. - Single vehicle, injury crash, Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 77. Passenger vehicle went off the road and struck a rock embankment. The driver and two juvenile passengers were transported to the hospital. The juveniles were no injured. A report was taken.
Nov. 2, 9:27 p.m. - Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 70. Driver struck a deer while traveling. The crash was logged.

Oct. 31, 9:14 a.m. - Crew responded to the 3200 block of Old Dufur Road on a report of a gas leak.
Nov. 3, 5:57 p.m. - Crew responded to the 1300 block of West 6th Street on a smoke investigation.
The agency also responded to four calls for emergency medical services on Oct. 31, eight on Nov. 1, three on Nov. 2, and four on Nov. 3.

Jose Ernesto Garcia, 44, The Dalles, was arrested Oct. 31 in the 200 block of Washington Street and is accused of four counts of probation violation.
Police responded to the 300 block of East 2nd Street Oct. 31 after a caller reported a work vehicle had been broken into and damaged. A report was taken.
Steven Troy Lee Williams, 38, The Dalles, was arrested Oct. 31 in the 300 block of West 6th Street and is accused of menacing, resisting arrest, assault on a public safety officer, second-degree disorderly conduct, and fourth-degree assault.
Police responded to the 1000 block of Floral Court Oct. 31 on a report of a runaway from Gilliam County at the location. Juvenile was located and removed from the system. A report was taken.
A criminal mischief report was taken Oct. 31 from the 300 block of East 10th Street after a victim reported her garage door was damaged.
A criminal mischief report was taken Oct. 31 from the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street after staff reported a customer punched a lottery machine and damaged it. A report was taken.
A theft report was taken Nov. 1 from the 2900 block of West 6th Street after an employee reported a customer fled without paying for fuel.
Police responded to the 300 block of Lincoln Street Nov. 1 after a caller reported observing a female subject urinate in the parking lot. Suspect was gone on arrival and a report was taken.
A theft report was taken Nov. 1 from the 500 block of East 11th Street after a victim reported some items were stolen from her driveway.
Maverick Shane Mangold, 36, The Dalles, was arrested Nov. 1 in the 2000 block of Lewis Street and is accused of first-degree theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and two counts of probation violation.
A theft report was taken Nov. 1 from the 1200 block of West 10th Street after a victim reported some money was stolen from her wallet.
Police responded to the 1300 block of West 10th Street on a report of a domestic disturbance. A verbal altercation had occurred between a male and female subject. A report was taken.
Jason Seth Griebel, 40, The Dalles, was arrested Nov. 1 in the 1000 block of Pomona Street and is accused of harassment and fourth-degree assault.
A theft report was taken Nov. 1 from the 2800 block of West 7th Street after a victim reported his vehicle battery was stolen.
A criminal mischief report was taken Nov. 2 from the 500 block of Cherry Heights Road after a victim reported her vehicle windows were broken out.
Levi Nicholas Lewis, 59, The Dalles, was arrested Nov. 2 near West 4th and Lincoln streets and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass. He was also arrested on a warrant for second-degree failure to appear.
Nicholas Micahel Lowe, 38, The Dalles, was arrested Nov. 2 in the 400 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass. He was also arrested on a warrant for two counts of second-degree failure to appear.
A child abuse report was taken in The Dalles at the police station on Nov. 2
A hit and run report was taken Nov. 2 from the 100 block of West 1st Street.
An agency assist report was taken Nov. 3 from Interstate 84, exit 85, after assisting with a vehicle fire.
Marina Iris Smith, 23, Hood River, was arrested Nov. 3 on River Trail Way on a warrant for second-degree failure to appear.
Wasco County
Deputy responded to the 6500 block of Reservoir Road Oct. 31 after a caller reported a vehicle was dumped on his property. Contact was made with the property owner who was advised that since the vehicle was left on private property law enforcement was not able to tow the vehicle. An informational report was taken.
Deputy responded to the 4700 block of Orchard Road Oct. 31 after a caller reported his neighbor may have started a burn pile on his property. A report was taken.
Samantha Nicole Taylor, 31, The Dalles, was arrested Nov. 2 and is accused of two counts of failure to perform the duties of a driver and probation violation.

A male passenger was cited for minor in possession of marijuana during a traffic stop Nov. 2 on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 94. A report was taken.
A male driver was cited and released for driving while suspended Nov. 3 during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 87 A report was taken.

Wayne Leroy Holt, 65, Rufus, was arrested Nov. 2 in Rufus and is accused of menacing.
Luis Jose Ruiz, 23, Mission, Texas, was arrested Nov. 3 and is accused of interference with making a police report.
Regional Jail
James Wesley Bayes, 57, The Dalles, was jailed Nov. 2 on a court commitment for second-degree theft.

Jacob Steven Baldwin, 31, The Dalles, was arrested Oct. 31 in the community corrections office and is accused of two counts of post-prison violations.
Michael Emerson Mayfield, 28, The Dalles, was arrested Nov. 1 in the community corrections office and is accused of five counts of parole violation.
