Titus wins national championship with Claremont-Mudd-Scripps

HOOD RIVER – Caiden Titus, a 2025 Hood River Valley High School graduate, won the USA Water Polo Division III Men's Collegiate National Championship with Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Stags in Claremont, Calif, on Dec. 7.

The Stags finished the season with a 23-5 record en route to the program’s second national title in history. The 2025 title was the second title that CMS has won at its home facility, along with the 2018 women's tennis championship won at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center. 

Titus is currently a freshman at Claremont McKenna College, majoring in psychology and economics.

During his time as an Eagle, Titus was a four-year varsity player and team captain
