March 16, officer stopped a car on I-84 eastbound and arrested the driver on charges of attempted distribution of methamphetamine and fentanyl, possession of same, driving under the influence of controlled substances and felon in possession of a weapon — namely, brass knuckles. March 17, Ferndale, Washington resident stopped on I-84 eastbound and arrested on charges possessing, and driving under the influence of, controlled substance. March 19, a St. Helens resident was stopped on I-84 at Exit 62 and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession and distribution of methamphetamine, two counts identity theft and a cite-and-release warrant out of Linn County.
March 17, an officer found a juvenile person at the Washington Federal Bank who had been reported missing, and released them to their parent.
Two theft reports. Rim and tire of a vehicle in Walmart lot, shoplifting at Walmart.
March 20, officer tried to stop a vehicle which eluded them around milepost 63 eastbound on I-84. No suspect was immediately identified.

These charges resulted in arrests: warrant (one).
Notable incidents:
March 22, Dodge SUV eluded a trooper at highways 197 and 30. The trooper didn’t chase it, but later found the driver was suspected in a recent domestic violence incident. The District Attorney was asked to consider charges of reckless driving and attempt to elude.
A registered sex offender came to fill in annual registration, but failed to do it within 10 days of his birthday. So the District Attorney was asked to consider charging him with failure to report.
2 non-injury crash reports. A car on I-84 merged into another near milepost 114 westbound. A car on US 97 hit a deer.
A trooper saw debris on a pond near the White River Wildlife Area, on Badger Creek Road. Examination proved about eight cans of spray foam were thrown into the water and emptied. A goose, shot dead, was also found. Investigation continues.
