Girls LAX storms past first round of playoffs

HRV girls lacrosse won its opening playoff matchup against the Summit Storm on May 14 by a final score of 12-4. The Eagles were impressive on the defensive end of the field versus the Storm as they caused 11 turnovers and held Summit to only eight shots at goal. Lauren Trumbull (pictured) was one of nine HRV athletes with at least one caused turnover against Summit.

HRV girls lacrosse headed into the first round of the state playoffs this week on a two-game winning streak. The team continued its end of the regular season run with a dominating performance in the opening round of the playoffs.

On May 14 the Eagles matched up against the Summit Storm in the first round of playoffs and won by a final score of 12-4 to move into the second round of state competition.
