THE DALLES — The Columbia River Gorge Chapter of Oregon’s Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) is hosting its CCA Oregon Fish Fest Saturday, June 27, at the Columbia River Hotel from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature four seminars on plug tuning, walleye tactics, hover fishing, and bait curing, alongside several booths headed by various fishing and outdoor organizations: Daybreak Fishing, OSP, Burnewiin, PNW Lures, Hatchery Wild, and Hood River Power Sports and Marine.
“This is a perfect opportunity to learn new fishing techniques from those who know them best,” said Chapter President Pat Cimmiyotti. “It will also be a perfect no-cost way to collaborate with your fellow local fishermen, something we find very valuable at CCA Oregon.”
The first 30 attendees will receive a free hat. All attendees will have the chance to purchase raffle tickets and win different items throughout the event, and a raffle winner will be announced between each seminar. Free hot dogs and beverages are provided for lunch.
