Smooth finesse artist Jeremy Bloom crushed the sticks in the Tuesday Nite Mixed league at Hood River’s Orchard Lanes, stringing 12 strikes in a row in his second game of the session, to notch his career third perfect 300 game. The young D&S Frame & Body Shop specialist went on to record a fine 710 series. Bloom has been right on target so far this season and is now carrying a lofty 221 average. To judge just how good a big average like that is, anyone who averages 200 is clearly skilled at this game. That puts Jeremy on another level; what a bright future he has in the game.

League action at the lanes was packed full of highlights last week. We want to take this opportunity to welcome back Kevin Harris to the bowling wars. Kevin, who has notched a few 300s in his career on the lanes in Spokane and one right here at Orchard Lanes a couple of years ago, logged a nice 641 series in the Monday night Men’s Industrial league.
