The Columbia High Bruins snapped a five-game losing streak by sweeping a nonleague baseball home doubleheader 22-1 and 25-1 against the OSAA Class 3A Riverside High Pirates (2-10) on April 8.

The Bruins (0-3 league, 3-7 overall) were scheduled to play a Trico League, road contest Tuesday versus the Castle Rock High Rockets (0-7 league, 2-12 overall). The Bruins play their next contest Friday at 4 p.m. at home versus the Rockets.
