To the editor: Being that Today, Dec. 7, 2014, is the 73rd anniversary of Pearl Harbor, AND August was the 75th Anniversary of the start of World War II, I am shocked and honestly dismayed that with how many veterans we have in The Dalles there wasn’t specials in the newspapers.

To the editor: A genuine thank you to the people of The Dalles, citizen landowners, public servants and elected personnel, who have supported our collective efforts to plow through the boulder-strewn pathway laid out in the past 15 years.

I am hoping that I can use this forum to thank the many people who attended my recent birthday party at Spooky’s. I was showered with cards, gifts, and well wishes from many wonderful friends and family members.
