HOOD RIVER — Join the Gorge Chapter Ducks Unlimited for the 38th annual fundraising banquet, held at the Best Western Plus Hood River Inn Feb. 22.   "This charitable event raises money for wetlands conservation and restoration and is a great time for folks to get together for a fun-filled evening," said a Ducks Unlimited press release.

THE GORGE — Two prescribed fires are planned over the next two days in the Columbia Gorge Region, and will be implemented by the Columbia Gorge Prescribed Fire Training Exchange (CGTREX) in partnership with Mt. Adams Resource Stewards and The Nature Conservancy.
