Klickitat County officials are preparing to undergo a discussion about how to keep the Dallesport wastewater plant financially healthy and mechanically up-to-date.
New members are needed to serve on the Klickitat County Senior Advisory Board. The board is made up of county residents who are appointed by county commissioners; members are appointed from each commissioner’s district.

He wanted residents to discuss a proposal by the Yakama Nation Housing Authority, which is considering buying a 47.5-acre parcel in Dallesport.
The Dallesport Community Council will sponsor a pair of public input meetings, June 5 and June 19, to discuss two different proposals to create housing and perhaps additional infrastructure for tribal members in the Dallesport area.
The Klickitat County Commission has scheduled an Oct.11 public hearing on a proposal to rezone acreage in Dallesport from single family lots to multi-family. The rezone plan involves property bordered by Third Avenue to the south, Sixth Avenue to the north, and Central Boulevard to the west.
