Letter to the Editor: Right to choose

In the past, my wife was on a drug program with Walgreens, saving her about $1,000 a year.

They had to drop her from the program (because she turned 65) according to federal law. Making her go on a drug program that will cost more and not save.

Why can’t we choose what we want? It seems that when the government helps it costs me more and makes others richer.

I paid taxes for 50 years, served my country for three years so I could have the right to choose.

Did we lose that right somewhere along the line?
