Letter to the editor: Keep Runyon

Rod ran for office four years ago as a candidate of change and he has proven he understands what needs to be done. He helped make Wasco County more transparent and accountable. He helped transform the budget process, reinstated direct communications with the city and led the charge to solve the issue of road funding.

We know when change is needed; it is required when elected officials have been in office too long; when they no longer see what needs to be done and when they are stuck in the past. When that occurs, elected officials must be replaced.

That is not the case with Rod Runyon. Please join me in voting to keep Rod Runyon so he can help me bring even more change to The Dalles and Wasco County.
