To the editor:
I want to go on record as endorsing Tiffany Prince for the office of City Council in the City of The Dalles. Tiffany has worked effectively as a coworker at Columbia Gorge Community College. She is committed to our mission, well organized and always willing to be helpful to others.
She brings some credentials to this position, with a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University in political science.
Most important, Tiffany will bring civility and thoughtfulness to our city council. Her only agenda is to ensure that we have adequate infrastructure, a safe community and become more efficient with our use of city revenue resources.
The city councilor’s duties require being fiscally responsible, focused on the needs of the community and dealing respectfully with the concerns of the public. Tiffany will excel in all of these areas. She is honest, reliable, and willing to learn whatever is necessary to be successful at this position. While the incumbent has served admirably, I believe Tiffany Prince would be a refreshing new addition to our city council.
