THE DALLES — The Dalles Chamber, in collaboration with Columbia Gorge Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and Blossomly Cultura, will host a listening session titled “Turning Dreams into Goals,” specifically aimed at supporting Latino-based businesses, both new and established, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. at Gorge Wine Library.
“Our goal is to hear directly from the Latino business community about their unique needs and challenges,” said a chamber press release. “The insights collected during this session will be instrumental in enabling Columbia Gorge SBDC to tailor a specialized curriculum for Latino entrepreneurs. This curriculum will focus on providing the necessary training, support, and tools for successful business operations in The Dalles.”
“This initiative has been made possible thanks to support from Travel Oregon through their Capacity Grant awarded to The Dalles. The collaboration between The Dalles Chamber, Columbia Gorge SBDC, and Blossomly Cultura underlines our joint commitment to empowering and uplifting Latino business owners in our community,” said the press release.
What to expect: An open platform for the Latino Business Community to voice their thoughts and needs; a $50 gift card to Grocery Outlet for each attendee; goodie bags and raffle prizes adding to the excitement; complimentary appetizers and a drink ticket valid for beer or wine.
“We extend a warm invitation to all Latino business owners and entrepreneurs to join us in this meaningful dialogue,” said the press release. “Your voice matters and will shape the future of business support in our region.”
