Jacob Tunget

Jacob Tunget, 28, was sentenced today to serve 100 months (8.3 years) in prison for first degree rape arising out of a 2024 incident which occurred behind the Safeway supermarket in Dallas.

Tunget, a Dallas area transient, was sentenced after pleading no contest to the single charge before Polk County Circuit Judge Rafael A. Caso. Tunget will not be eligible for any form of early release or sentence reduction. He will also be required to serve a 140 month term of Post-Prison Supervision upon his release and register as a sex offender.
