On April 2 at the Columbia Gorge Food Bank warehouse, volunteers from Zion Lutheran packed 263 bags of food that kids from all six schools in The Dalles took home last weekend as part of the Backpack For Kids program. Above, Susan Stewart tucks spaghetti into the bag for each child.
