On May 10, The Next Door honored foster parents for their commitment to providing safe places for youth to live while in the Treatment Services Program. Janet Hamada, executive director, thanked foster parents for their hard-work and dedication to the children and teens. Becci Crane and Amy Lindley presented certificates of service and special gifts to each of them. Many area businesses donated to the event and local musicians Kay Floria and Randy Bell provided live music.

The Next Door cares for foster kids and teens, ages 6-18, within Wasco and Hood River Counties. Their foster parents are professional members of the youth’s treatment team and help them learn and practice new living skills each day.
