THE DALLES — Wasco County veteran services has changed location in the Dalles and is now located at 401 East Third, Suite 200, behind the social security office. “Same staff, same phone number just a new location,” said the press release. The mission of veteran services is to “assist veterans and their surviving spouses with veterans’ claims [including:] disability compensation, non-service-connected pensions for war-period veterans, aid and attendance, VA health care, education benefits, VA loan information, and more,” according to the website.
