(The Center Square) – Two advocacy groups have brought the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s connections to a Biden-era net zero program to the department’s attention in a letter, while the groups also released a report detailing how the net zero program forces ESG policies onto farmers, which in turn raises prices for American consumers.

Executive director Sal Nuzzo of one of the groups in question, Consumers Defense, told The Center Square that the USDA withdrawing from Pathways to Dairy Net Zero would be “a win for American farmers and consumers.”
