BILLINGS, Mont. - Leadership in Action, a Montana-based political action committee, released an advertisement Wednesday targeting departing University of Montana president Seth Bodnar, just hours after announcing he would step down.Â
Bodnar is reportedly considering a run for Senate against Steve Daines (R-MT) according to multiple news outlets, although Bodnar has not confirmed any plans to do so or filed for candidacy as of Wednesday.Â
The advertisement highlights what Leadership in Action alleges are Bodnar's "alignment with East Coast academic elites, steep tuition increases, and policies...out of step with Montana voters," according to an email the group sent to NonStop Local.Â
The former University of Montana president's surname is misspelled as "Bodner" several times in the video.
Leadership in Action said the advertisement began running statewide on Wednesday.Â
