(The Center Square) - Students across Colorado recently participated in protests against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, but according to a Colorado congressman, one demonstration got violent – to the point he's seeking a federal investigation.

Five assaults were reported when a large crowd protested Sept. 4 at La Alma-Lincoln Park in Denver, police told The Center Square. The Denver Police Department said suspects have been interviewed and that all five victims were transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.
