Introducing Columbia Gorge News reporter Aziza Cooper-Hovland

THE GORGE — Aziza Cooper-Hovland is a new member of the Columbia Gorge News team. After attending high school in Hood River, she moved to California for college, where she studied English.

Since graduating, she has moved back to the area, and is excited to use her passion of writing and history to share the stories of the beautiful Columbia Gorge and its residents. She loves reading and can frequently be found holed up in one of the area’s many wonderful cafes with a good book, and a delicious coffee.
