Haunted House
     Oct. 31 from 4:30-7 p.m. at 146 W. Jewett Blvd., White Salmon. The Mt. Adams Chamber of Commerce, The Masons at White Salmon Lodge No. 163, and volunteers from other local community groups promise a haunted house experience fit for all ages. Don’t do scary? Go right upstairs to the Fun & Friendly Zone for treats, games and more.
Festival of Light
    Oct. 31 from 5-7 p.m. at 60 NE Wauna Ave., White Salmon (Bubba’s Brew Espresso parking lot). A Halloween tradition for more than two decades, hosted by Grace Baptist Church, is back! Enjoy carnival games, fresh cider, nibble on enchanted cookies, and marvel at the masquerade of costumes.
Trunk or Treat
    Oct. 31 from 5-7 p.m. at Mt. Adams Elks Lodge, 124 NE Church Ave., White Salmon
(next to the White Salmon Fire Hall). What could lurk inside a trunk on the spookiest night of the year? Maybe a Frankenstein
 jumper cable? A witch’s first-aid kit? Or could it be ghosts, goblins, magic brooms, and creeping cobwebs? Wait, did we leave out the heaps of yummy candies?
Community Treats
    Oct. 31 fro, 5-7 p.m. on Jewett Boulevard between Estes Avenue and Main Avenue, White Salmon. Sorcerers, witches, and muggles alike are beckoned to Jewett Boulevard to bestow treats upon eager little hands. We encourage everyone to set up along Jewett, hand out treats, and enjoy the best view of the costume parade. Ensure all treats are commercially wrapped and sealed.
Costume Parade
    Oct. 31 from 5:30-5:45 p.m. in the White Salmon City Hall Parking Lot, 100 N Main Ave. Supported by the White Salmon Valley K-8 Parent Teacher Organization. Strut your stuff or simply enjoy the parade of creative costumes. Margie’s Outdoor Store will lead the ghastly gang of participants down Jewett Boulevard.
