HOOD RIVER — With the support of local community partners, Riverside Community Church is again hosting a free Thanksgiving dinner titled, “Blessings for our Community.” The dinner will be served in the scenic Riverview Room at Riverside Church, 317 State St., Hood River, from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28. All are welcome.
The Riverside Kitchen Team, led by local chef Kathy Watson, will serve as many as 250 meals including turkey donated by Romul’s in Hood River. Tom Kaser will play piano during the meal.
“We feel blessed to share in the bounty gifted to us by our precious Mother Earth. It’s a great gift to be able to feast together with a beautiful variety of Gorge residents — friends old and new,” said Riverside Pastor Vicky Stifter.

THE DALLES — The Dalles’ free annual Thanksgiving meal will be served on Thursday, Nov. 28 at St. Mary’s Academy from noon to 3 p.m., and everyone is welcome. To order a delivery meal for pickup, call Kris at 541-296-6417.
