Who are the traitors?
A twist this season was that the first traitor would be picked in front of everyone. The competitors had to stand in front of Cumming as he opened up a trunk. If it was empty, they were safe. If it had the traitor card in it, they became the first traitor. However, they weren’t revealed right away.
The other traitors picked at the round table were Candiace Dillard Bassett, Lisa Rinna, and Rob Rausch.
The fourth traitor remained a secret and did not meet the other traitors. They had the full say in who gets murdered and produced a shortlist of people eligible for murder for the other traitors to decide. Donna Kelce was revealed to be the Secret Traitor and was banished in episode two, so the twist ended.
Who was eliminated from The Traitors?
Episode 7
The remaining contestants attended a banquet hosted by Cumming. The Traitors had to try to get a Faithful to touch a brooch that Rinna wore. Whoever touched it would be murdered.
She tried to pinpoint Arcoho, Kish, and Anderson. Rinna pretended the brooch had fallen off her and asked for help to put it back on. She got one of the Faithfuls to help, but fans didn’t see who.
When Cumming entered the room, he said two elixirs were sitting on the table. Two contestants could drink them, and if one of them was the one murdered, they would be saved. Kish and Anderson both drank the elixirs. However, they weren’t the ones who were murdered.
Murdered: Yam Yam Arocho
As Arocho left, he called out Rinna and said that she had kissed him, and he thought that was the signal for his demise.
For the challenge, the contestant had to lug gold up a hill and place it into the chest of the person they wanted to advance. Six contestants advanced for a chance to win “the dagger,” which would give them an extra vote at the Round Table. The six contestants who advanced were Underwood, Rausch, Anderson, Colletti, Ballas, and Nam.
Rausch had the most gold, so he had the advantage in the round. He got to question his fellow contestants, who all had tablets in front of them. One of them had a photo of the dagger on it. Rausch could ask them questions and then choose one of them to take their tablet from.
Rausch stole Anderson’s tablet. She had the dagger, so it now belonged to him. He could use it at any of the next four Round Tables. The group agreed to keep it a secret. And they accumulated $17,800 for the prize pot.
Banished: Lisa Rinna (Traitor) with nine votes (Anderson received two, Rausch and Higgins both received one)
Although Rinna tried to spin it to Anderson, most of the people believed Arocho, so the Housewife was banished.
