When we caught up with Hiddleston to discuss Season 3, he teased, “We’re working on it. Yeah, we’re working on it now. It’s not in official pre-production, but it’s in official development… We’re working on it, we’re refining the story and the architecture of what we really like.” He went on to add, “It’s very exciting because we’ve always been able to plan Season 2 and Season 3 as a two-volume story — 12 hours and 12 episodes are very different from six episodes, so we know where the story ends.”
Who will star in The Night Manager Season 3?
We can’t imagine The Night Manager would exclude its leading man, Tom Hiddleston as Jonathan Pine, even if he was last seen bleeding out in the jungles of Colombia. It’s clear from the finale’s final minutes that Hugh Laurie and Noah Jupe are likely locked in for returns, and we anticipate Indira Varma, Alistair Petrie, and more will return, but no official announcements or confirmations have been made at this time. Stay tuned for any updates in the months ahead.
Since we don’t know how Season 2’s final episodes will unfold quite yet, it’s unclear where the story will take Jonathan Pine next, but we anticipate he’ll be thrust into a new mission as the former British intelligence operative carries on his line of work.
