On Feb. 11, the Riverhawks suffered their most lopsided defeat this season, 66-37, to the No. 6-ranked La Grande High Tigers (5-1 Greater Oregon League, 17-4 overall). The Riverhawks also allowed a season-high point total for an opponent in the loss.
The No. 11-ranked Riverhawks (5-2 TVC, 15-5 overall) were seeking to get a second consecutive win Feb. 18 at home versus the Gladstone High Gladiators (1-5 TVC, 3-17 overall). The Riverhawks play their final regular season home game Feb. 21 at 6:30 p.m. on senior night against the Estacada High Rangers (1-5 TVC, 6-13 overall).
The Riverhawks are in second place in the six-team standings with two games remaining in the regular season. The Riverhawks conclude the season on the road Feb. 25 against the third place Molalla High Indians (3-3 TVC, 10-9 overall). The Riverhawks are seeking to get a fifth straight victory over Molalla overlapping the last three seasons.
The No. 14-ranked Crook County High Cowgirls (6-0 TVC, 11-9 overall) are atop the standings. The Riverhawks have lost twice to the Cowgirls this year, but The Dalles has a higher ranking than the Cowgirls.
