THE DALLES — The Dalles High Riverhawk boys basketball team suffered a season-ending defeat in the Class 4A first round of the state playoffs last week.

The No. 14-ranked Riverhawks (16-10) lost 81-30 to the defending champion and No. 5-ranked Baker High Bulldogs (16-8) in a March 8 boys state playoff game at Baker High School.
