Local tennis teams take to the courts.

Hood River Valley added two more Northwest Oregon Conference girls tennis two wins to its record last week, giving Coach Peg Bogard’s team a 7-3-1 overall mark heading into this week’s district tourney seeding meeting.

The Eagle girls were scheduled to play an away match May 6 at Hillsboro and then the seeding lists will be released later this week, May 9, for the May 13-15 district tourney. The Class 5A state tennis championships are May 24 at Tualatin Hills in Beaverton.
