Eagles boys win golf opener

Hood River Valley’s John Olsen and Davis Kerr finished 1-2 to lead the Eagles to a win in their 2024 boys golf opener March 11 at Indian Creek Golf Course in Hood River.

The day on the course started with overcast weather and ended with steady rain, but that didn’t deter Olsen, who shot a personal best 7-over-79, nor Kerr, who shot an 81. Completing the varsity team score for HRV were Nils Reierson (99), and Aiden Willis (114).
