Clogging of the eight-story-high wheat conveyor system at the Sunshine Biscuits, Inc., mill caused fire and mechanical damage late Thursday afternoon.

The automatic sprinkler system, however, doused the fire shortly after it broke out and sounded the alarm at the downtown fire station.
