The CWU (Central Washington University) Ventus Trio will be performing at Riverside Community Church on March 20 at 7 p.m. “The highly praised trio is a remarkable ensemble distinguished by its range, exuberance and sumptuous sound,” said Diana Beterbide, a Hood River concert pianist and teacher who is organizing the concert.

Beterbide said this combination of flute, bassoon and piano “is a very unusual one for the music that they will be presenting”: Trio in D Major, Op. 70, No. 1, Ghost by Ludwig van Beethoven, and Trio in B Major, Op. 8 by Johannes Brahms.
