“On behalf of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, I want to thank all of those in our community who participated in the first ‘Share the Warmth’ event,” writes Rev. Anna Carmichael. “Our intention of hosting the event was to invite the larger community into our home and rally around outreach programs that impact our local community and our larger community of brothers and sisters. To our surprise, we had a much better turnout than we could have ever imagined and the financial support was overwhelming! We are pleased to be able to continue to support not only the Hood River Warming Shelter, the FISH Food Bank, and the Emergency Voucher Program, but we are also able to support Athletes for Cancer, Free Clothes for Kids and Episcopal Relief and Development Fund.

“The generosity of this community and the care that we have for one another is outstanding and I am proud and honored to be here with all of you. Blessings!”
