HOOD RIVER — The Hood River Rotary Club’s Dictionary Program is in full gear. Under the program, the club delivers a dictionary to every fifth grader in the county. It’s run every year since 1994, except for a brief pause during the pandemic.

“It’s fun. It’s educational. The teachers and students love the program. We’re approaching having delivered 10,000 books,” said program chair Paul Crowley.
