Letter to the editor: Stay healthy

To learn more about heart disease and prevention, I would like to urge everyone to take advantage of the Go Red Events coming up February 6th and 7th in The Dalles.

On Friday, Feb 6th, from 11am-2pm, attend the Heart Expo and Noon Heart Walk at the Civic Auditorium.

Enjoy free health screenings and interactive exhibits—and even get a massage! No registration necessary.

On Saturday, Feb 7, you can participate in The Heart Truth 3k/5k walk/run or the 10k run at Kiwanis Pocket Park on Klindt Drive. On-site registration begins at 9:30 a.m. with kick-off at 10 a.m.

You can register for this event at www.mcmc.net. or pick up a registration form at the Planetree Health Resource Center, 200 E 4th St., The Dalles.
