Last week’s History Mystery was taken in The Dalles in 1948 in about May or June. It shows a port building and warehouse, half-submerged in the flooding Columbia River. We still don’t know the exact location of this building.
That last image was scanned from a print donated to Columbia Gorge Discovery Center and Museum in 2022, designated 2022.14.15 in the collections, and reprinted with permission.
