Last week’s mystery photo was scavenged from an old The Dalles Chronicle, published May 22, 1965. It showed the “juvenile division” of the Krazy Day parade that Saturday. Judges picked six young winners that day: Danny Jenson, dressed as free enterprise; “beauty” Kassie Barber, “native” Kevin Clawson, “bugs” Lorene and Mike Keeney, “moon monster” Doug DesRochers, and Clay Wilson, a “high hat sheriff.” This parade was discontinued some time back and nobody remembered it, seems!
